Blue Christmas is a contemplative worship service held on the longest night of the year, offering space for quiet reflection, prayer and solidarity for those experiencing grief or struggling with loss.  The service was first offered in the 1990s, and provides an alternative worship experience to the celebratory gatherings otherwise typical of the Advent and Christmas seasons.  Blue Christmas will be offered at Christ the King in Arvada this year on December 21st at 6pm.
